Earlier this year, an automatic phone call was made to Arizona parents, who have children who qualify for the ESA program. In this call, Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal, encouraged parents to utilize this program, enrolling their children in private school, paying the tuition with tax dollars that would otherwise have gone to Arizona’s public schools.
On March 18, the following letter was sent to the Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal, regarding this “robo-call” promoting ESA expansion. He was asked to address multiple concerns about this call, his views on education and the results of these actions.
On May 13, a reply, dated April 14, was received from Superintendent Huppenthal.
We hope that you take the time to read both letters, so that you are aware of this very current dialogue.
